The drama series Rhythm City on e.tv made South African actor Sandile Dlamini famous for his role as Jafta.

Rhythm City ran on television from 2007 until 2021. Given that it was one of the most popular drama shows in South Africa, many people felt shocked at the news of its cancelation.

Sandile Dlamini started acting in the 90s and has starred in several theatre productions, including A Long Way To Go. The seasoned starred as Jobe in the theatre play. With a career spanning decades, he has starred in several small-screen productions, including the CCV sitcom Going Up.However he is best known for his on-screen character of Jafta on Rhythm City.
