This is a contract-based graduate programme intended for unemployed graduates who are medically fit and capable of meeting stringent site requirements. Successful applicants must be adaptable and willing to relocate to any Fraser Alexander project site across South Africa.
Tasks
Participants in the Civil Engineering Graduate Programme will be expected to:
- Engage in daily site operations under the supervision of professional engineers
- Contribute to civil engineering projects related to tailings, construction, or infrastructure development
- Apply technical knowledge in real-world project environments
- Participate in safety, quality, and environmental compliance activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project planning and execution
- Complete administrative and technical reporting tasks
- Continuously learn and develop technical and soft skills relevant to the industry
Qualifications
To be eligible for this graduate programme, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
- A completed Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Civil Engineering
- Willingness to undergo psychometric testing and client screening
- Must not have previously participated in any graduate programme
- Must pass all induction and medical fitness requirements
Experience
