Cassper Nyovest Announces His Return to Amapiano Scene
Cassper Nyovest plans to return to the amapiano scene.
At this year’s Spring Fiesta, the rapper told festivalgoers he was set to release an amapiano song soon.
“It’s a new one. Maybe I’m dropping it next week,” he said during his performance.
He later took it to social media, writing: “Can you feel it? Should we drop this one? #MaMeneMene #springfiesta2024.”

In 2021 he debuted his amapiano song Siyathandana featuring Boohle and Abidoza. In hip-hop circles he was criticised for switching to amapiano.
Having already given his fans a taste of Cassper the amapiano artist through collaborations with DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small, Cassper’s single from his EP Short and Sweet 2.0 received major love from Mzansi.
Some X users, who admitted they weren’t big fans of Cassper when he is not dropping bars, gave the song a thumbs up and praised the rapper for his versatility.
