BASETSANA Kumalo praises hubby.
The businesswoman, former Miss South Africa and Miss World first runner-up in 1994, shared a touching birthday tribute to her husband, Romeo Kumalo, on Instagram.
She celebrated their 25 years of marriage and 28 years together, expressing deep gratitude for their journey.
Basetsana praised Romeo as a devoted father, supportive husband, and strong partner in life.
“I have been with you for 28 years and married to you for 25 years. Today, I get another opportunity to celebrate the gift of your life. When I say my prayers of thanksgiving, you are at the top of that list. There are a thousand reasons why I am grateful to have you in my life.

“I get to raise our children with an incredible father, who’s absolutely devoted to them, who is a great role model, a positive influence in their lives, a man who loves them implicitly and wholeheartedly. I get to spend my days with you, share my dreams and fears with you. You anchor us, and with you, we are safe,” she said.
She continued her tribute to Romeo, thanking him for his unwavering support: “Thank you for being the wind beneath my wings and always propelling me to pursue my dreams, never holding me back and always saying, ‘I am just here to see you come into your own and be the best version of yourself’,” she said.
“Never doubting, never feeling untoward about my audacious goals and crazy dreams, always being measured and encouraging. Thank you for standing by me. Thank you for all that you are and all that you continue to be. Thank you for all that you do,” she said.
Basetsana has since built a successful career in business, philanthropy, and leadership, making her one of Mzansi’s most influential women.
