Zuma’s daughter caught in party storm!
FORMER president Jacob Zuma’s daughter, Duduzile, is in hot water.
Her party, Umkhonto Wesizwe (MK), announced on Monday, 24 February, that she is facing disciplinary action for her behaviour.
MK deputy secretary-general Nombuso Mkhize told a media briefing in Sandton, north of Joburg, that Duduzile wasn’t special, and the constitution of the party applied to her as well.
“She is a member of uMkhonto Wesizwe, like all of us. The constitution is clear that any member, should they behave outside the stipulations of the constitution, must be subjected to the disciplinary processes,” she said.
The action against Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla follows a meeting of National Officials held on Wednesday, 19 February.
The National Officials within the MK are a constitutional structure with decision-making powers between meetings of the National High Command.
Duduzile, who is also a member of Parliament and the new chairwoman of the Southern Caucus of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP), posted a series of insults directed at MK’s Secretary-General Floyd Shivambu on X.
She has since apologized for her profanity.

Shivambu said the National Officials made important decisions for the organization, affecting the MK mother body, the Leagues, Fraternal Organisations, and Public Representatives.
“We also received a report from the National Disciplinary Committee, which recommended sentences against members who violated the Constitution,” he said.
He mentioned that two members have already been expelled from the party.
One of the members served as a deployee of the MK in the National Council of Provinces, and the other was deployed to the Provincial Legislature in Mpumalanga.
“These two expulsions demonstrate that we do not and will not tiptoe on matters related to internal discipline,” said Shivambu.
He also announced that the National Officials made several decisions on leadership issues concerning the national high command, the leagues, and all provinces.
Advocate Dali Mpofu received a top job in the Eastern Cape.
He will lead the party’s National High Command (NHC) while Daisy Tshiloane will lead the Free State.
