Football fans love to see falir, they enjoy it when players are sent to the cleaners, it is what they pay for and these days it seems teams are having that special player who will make sure that the fans are on their toes whenever he is in possession of the ball, they know that he will make opponents bite the dust as he goes past them, Orlando Pirates winger Monnapule Saleng is on fire and he has been tormenting opposition defense, he is surely turning into a dangerous player and the most recent casualty was Aubrey Modiba was was left wanting as he cross the ball to Kermit Erasmus.

Saleng was on the headlines a two weeks ago when he turn the former Pirates midfielder Andile Jali into a laughing stock after he made a quick turn when Jali attempted to block him, he fell in the most awkward manner and he was trolled for days on social media, he ended up blocking some of his followers, clearly he got emotional when he saw the posts on social media.

During the second leg of the MTN 8 Semi Final played at the Peter Mokaba stadium in Polokwane, Limpopo, Saleng left the former SuperSport United winger Modiba biting the dust on the line as he went past him to deliver a beautiful cross to Erasmus who headed it home to give the Buccaneers an early lead, Modiba was surely embarrassed after he was also given the taste of what Jali felt a fortnight ago.

Just before he scored his second goal for the day, Saleng also victimised Rushine De Reuck as he ebt im tumbling before he fired a powerful shot that left the Bafana Bafana captain Ronwen Williams with no option but just watch as the ball funds the back of the net, his speed is proving to be too much for defenders, he is causing all sorts of trouble whenever he is in possession of the ball.

Despite tormenting the defense, Saleng was the key man behind Pirates’ well deserves victory against Masandawana, he had direct contribution to all the goals the team scored on the day, he provided an assist for the first goal and sealed the great performance with a late brace, he has now scored four goals in two back to back games, the player is improving and getting better with each game he plays.
