Top Skeem Saam actress in love triangle!

SKEEM SAAM actress Tauné Block is adding even more drama to SABC1’s most loved series.

While she loves a good challenge, she doesn’t like to upset Pretty and Lehasa’s fans.

The 32-year-old actress from Kimberley in the Northern Cape plays Dr Loren Blue.

She’s a medical doctor at Joburg Prison, caring for Lehasa in the ICU after his near-fatal stabbing. The two have formed a surprising romantic connection, despite their doctor-patient roles.

Tauné told Daily Sun she lives with gratitude and takes life as it comes.

“I understand how much the audience loves the relationship between Lehasa and Pretty. Being the one to come between them and disappoint ‘Prehasa’ fans is probably my biggest challenge,” she said.

Tauné said she reminds herself she is the chosen vessel to tell Dr Blue’s story.

“I’ll continue honouring this while my reality outside her character brings me comfort, peace, and joy.”

Tauné said being part of a local drama or soapie has always been one of her career goals.

“Landing this role in SA’s most loved TV series has been a huge achievement and career highlight,” said Tauné.

She said her character teaches her that actions speak louder than words.

“She reminds me to stay passionate about things that awaken your soul and bring you joy. Lastly, she’s taught me that, despite society’s boundaries and restrictions, we’re all worthy of giving and receiving love. I look forward to learning more with her,” said Tauné.
