There have been rumors that foreigners are coming to South Africa to hijack cars that are in demand in their

countries and illegally crossed them to their countries and sell them cheap.

The members of the South African National Defence Force deployed in the borders are finding it tough, with vehicles being smuggled to cross to the neighboring countries, more especially to Zimbabwe, where they can even travel easily to other countries.

There are the type of vehicles that seems to be targeted, Toyota Hilux Legend 50 and 45, Ford Rangers, Toyota Parado, Amarok, and Toyota Fortunes. One can conclude this by saying that it is double cabs cars that are mostly targeted.

At T-junction SANDF soldiers reported having seized a Toyota Hilux Legend 50, At Gate 7 the soldiers recovered a grey Ford Ranger abandoned by the criminals who escaped into Zimbabwe.

At Gate 8 a Toyota Prado was seized and Also six undocumented people were arrested with a stolen Mitsubishi Bakkie. All these cars were being smuggled to neighboring countries.
