The Department Of Education Has Revealed Good News To The Public
The department has already designed the calendar for 2022 and 2023, so it had asked parties and organisations to comment in writing within one month. While it requested feedback for the 2023 calendar, the 2022 schedule had also been set. In 2022, schools were set to reopen on 10 January for teachers and 12 January for learners.
Fedsas believed things may be back to normal in schools in 2023, without disruptions, as people were being vaccinated. As it is teachers have gotten their vaccinations as well as staff members and the education department, so obviously by the end of this year or 2022 the vaccination process will be done meaning everyone will be safe and as we reach 2023 things will be back to normal.
Over 333,000 teachers and support staff have since been vaccinated since the campaign started on 23 June 2021. Phase 1 targeted 300 thousand to be vaccinated within the first 10 days of the programme, this target was based on the number of doses allocated of the Johnson& Johnson vaccine to the sector.
