Socking: The Simpsons Stops Using White Actors To Voice Characters of Color
The Simpsons will no longer use white performers to name ethnic minority characters, the creators of the long-running vivified game plan announced Friday.
The decision joins a typical character from the course of action, moved in 1989 – Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, a dealer of Indian root voiced in the American variation of the show by white performer Hank Azaria.
