Due to the large crowd in attendance, the case had to be moved to a slightly bigger courtroom.
Outside the court, residents of Kwa-Thema protested, demanding the accused wife be denied bail.
Lunga Skosana, the brother of the deceased, vented out his frustration to the media.
He was involved in his brother’s lobola negotiations for Sibongile in 2024.
He said had he known his brother was bringing the killer into the family, he could have stopped everything.
“We trusted her and never thought that she would go to such extent of hiring killers for my brother. We know couples have fights, but this has left us reeling with shock,” he said.
The accused are charged with murder.
