Siya Kolisi’s Photos with Princess Charlene Spark Online Jokes
Just days after seemingly snubbing his ex-partner Rachel Kolisi on her birthday, Springboks captain Siya Kolisi has dedicated a special post to another blonde – Princess Charlene – on her special day.
The rugby star – who also plays for the Sharks – is touring abroad with the KwaZulu-Natal Club.
Charlene, who was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in South Africa, is married to Prince Albert of Monaco.
SIYA KOLISI ROASTED OVER PICS WITH PRINCESS CHARLENE
In his latest Instagram snap, Siya Kolisi dedicated a special post to Princess Charlene of Monaco on her 47th birthday.
The Springboks captain posed for pictures with the blonde royal and, in one, even gifted her a neatly wrapped present.
He captioned the pic: “Happy birthday, Princess Charlene! Wishing you an amazing day and a wonderful year ahead. Thank you for the warm welcome yesterday and for your incredible support for rugby”.
He added: “I’m excited to see the impact you’ll have on rugby in Monaco and beyond.”
Unbeknownst to many, Charlene is the president of the Monegasque Rugby Federation, which governs the rugby union in the small country.

While the royal meet and greet was strictly business, many followers of the popular player mistook it for something else. Some even suggested that Siya Kolisi was trying to make moves on the former Olympic swimmer.

Although followers joked that the royal was South Africa’s “new makoti,” Princess Charlene is married to Prince Albert of Monaco. The couple wed in 2011 and have two children together.
WHAT ABOUT RACHEL’S BIRTHDAY?
While Siya Kolisi took the time to publicly wish Princess Charlene a happy birthday, the same can’t be said for his ex-partner
Earlier this week, Rachel KOlisi celebrated her 35th birthday. And while she received many well wishes from friends and even Springbok WAGS, Siya seemingly blue-ticked the day.
The Bok also didn’t like or comment on Rachel’s post about her celebrations.

Instead, Siya – who lives alone in his Ballito home in KZN – posted pics of him visiting Anfield, the home of his favourite football club, Liverpool.
