Thanks to his affinity for the club, Siya Kolisi has had the honour of being able to experience such grand gestures from the current Premier League log leaders.

It didn’t take long for the Sharks star, who boasts a good friendship with former Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp, to poke fun at his teammates.
He shared a post wearing the jersey with his teammates, who looked serious. Siya Kolisi posted, “Clearly not Reds supporters.”

RELATIONSHIP WITH JURGEN KLOPP
Last month, the Springboks skipper made headlines when former Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp revealed how he met him. He also talked about his bromance with Siya Kolisi over the years.
The German tactician revealed that he bumped into Siya Kolisi while having a good meal with his friends at a Cape Town restaurant.
During an interview, the former Liverpool coach said, “We had been at a restaurant in Cape Town, Camps Bay. I was there with friends and as a German guy, we are not so much into rugby.
“My friend who is half French and half English, he came back from the restroom, and he said, ‘My God, Siya Kolisi is here’. I walked there just to have a look.”

However, he revealed that he used to support the All-Blacks, but his bromance with Siya Kolis changed everything. Now, Klopp supports the Springboks.
In 2022, Siya Kolisi revealed to the media that he now considers Jürgen Klopp a close friend after meeting him in Cape Town.
“It’s always fun to be in Jurgen’s presence. He has a way of making you feel so good about yourself. What people might not know is that he has a great sense of humour and he’s very family orientated,” said Kolisi at the time.
