Shona Ferguson Fighting For His Life In ICU

Film maker, executive producer, co-founder of Ferguson Films and actor Aaron Arthur Ferguson, also known as Shona Ferguson, is currently fighting for his life in ICU.

According to Sunday World, the 47-year-old actor underwent a heart surgery last week, after being admitted for more than a week at Milpark private hospital in Joburg.

A source close to Shona told Sunday World that Connie Ferguson’s husband is currently on a ventilator in ICU after they initially thought that he was infected with COVID. Turns out that his condition has since deteriorated following the operation.

According to the source, Ferguson is currently kept in an isolated area where a group of medical specialists performed the surgical procedure of a heart operation, and reported to only allow the selected few to access the area.

The source further added that they did not think much of Shona’s illness as he is a fairly fit and healthy man who make certain to conduct a clean and healthful lifestyle.

The producer was allegedly exceptionally well until he began complaining about chest pains and struggling to breathe as per usual hence they suspected that he might have contracted Covid-19. However, further examinations suggested surgery as the best course of action.

The source, who refused to be named said, “he is a fighter and he will pull through this ordeal. Yes, at the moment he is in ICU, but he will be fine.”

Adding to the statement, he said that his wife, Connie, was right by his side every step of the way and was trying her best to run the business amid the unfortunate circumstances

When contacted for a comment, Georgina Machiridza, the head of PR at M-Net, reserved her comments because she viewed this ordeal as a personal matter.
