I can smell the end of Senzo Meyiwa’s murder case with new evidences and angles coming to light everyday. Witnesses are beginning to break and with time the truth will come out.

During cross-examination, Madlala admitted that Meyiwa had requested that they watch a game together that weekend. He claimed that Khumalo had sent him money from KwaZulu-Natal to get there.

“It seems like you’re always getting money. How much would it cost to travel to and from Vosloorus? “The attorney enquired.

It was also made public that Madlala had been paid to take part in a Netflix documentary about the murder of Meyiwa that had previously aired before the trial.

“I won’t argue that I was [paid]. I informed them that they were using up my free time.”

Thobane charged Madlala with turning his responses into essays later on during the interrogation. Thobane asked him to “behave” after Madlala interrupted him.

Is it clear? Thobane asked in a loud voice at one point. Madlala then retorted: “Do not yell at me. Do not yell at me. Do not yell at me.”

Maumela removed his glasses and asked, “Mr. Thobane, what are you starting now?” with a smile.

With witnesses now under stringent pressure, the truth will be revealed soon and the real killers identified so that justice will be served for the untimely death served to Senzo Meyiwa.
