While Sundowns were knocked out in the quarterfinal of the tournament.
Pirates also got knocked out of Confederations cup in the quarterfinals.
After qualifying for the CAF CL final Chiefs secured a total of R18.2 million as runner ups.
Sundowns secured around R9.4 million after they were knocked out in the quarters.
The Buccaneers also earned around R5 million in Confed Cup after they were eliminated by Raja Casablanca.
However the three clubs will have to pass 5% of their total earnings to SAFA.
