Sad: Another former Generations star has passed away

Ever since the year began, the South African entertainment industry has lost many talented people, talented people who made our televisions worth watching every night.

Its seven months into the year and South Africa’s favourite soapie Generations has lost 3 former stars and all of this happened in a space of less than 3 months.

First we lost Menzi Ngubane who was best known for playing the role of Sibusiso Dlomo on the soapie, He passed away after a long illness. Then about a month ago another popular star Mutodi Neshehe who played the role of Zola Radebe on the soapie, He passed away due to Covid-19 related illness.

Now the country is in shock to hear the sad news that Sindi Buthelezi, known for her role as Zinhle on the soapie in 2013, has also passed away.

Media commentator Phil Mphela shared the news recently. Sindi passed away at the age of just 32.

She was born and bred in the East Rand in a small town called Ratanda, she started her entertainment career at a local community hall, where she performed drama to grow and nature her acting skills. Later pursued her studies in Public Relations at the University of Johannesburg.

She also starred on etv Telenovela Ashes to Ashes as Patience and starred on Soul City, season 12 on Sabc1 as Ntombi in 2014.
