Relebogile Mabotja Makes Her Mark!

RENOWNED producer and media personality Relebogile Mabotja continues to cement her status as a major influence in the entertainment industry.

The 39-year-old multi-talented producer and presenter from Tshwane recently produced Showmax’s inaugural live-streaming event, featuring Grammy-winning sensation Tyla in concert.

The live-streamed concert on Saturday, 18 January, reached audiences in 44 African countries via Showmax, marking a historic moment for both Tyla and the streaming platform.

As an executive producer, Relebogile led her company, Black Swan Media, to new heights to deliver this world-class event. Known for her work in producing top-tier live broadcasts, Relebogile expressed her joy and honour.

“Producing Showmax’s first live-streamed event was an incredible honour for my team and myself. Collaborating with Tyla, a phenomenal artist, to bring this historic event to life for fans across the continent was a privilege. It’s moments like these that redefine storytelling and celebrate African talent on a global stage,” she said.

With over two decades in the industry, Relebogile has an extensive list of live events to her credit.

She has produced esteemed shows such as the SAFTAs and Miss South Africa 2022 and 2024 live broadcasts, the Crown Gospel Music Awards, and Afro Café.

In 2023, she expanded her repertoire by becoming a voice director for the animated anthology “Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire” on Disney.
