Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification
- A formal technical or store management qualification will be an added advantage
- Valid driver’s licence (PDP will be an advantage)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an FMCG environment
- Knowledge of stock control systems and inventory management best practices
Role Responsibility
- Conduct daily stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy
- Liaise with suppliers and request quotes for required parts and consumables
- Order and replenish parts and consumables to maintain stock levels
- Receive and issue parts as per operational requirements
- Open and manage job cards to track maintenance activities
- Match daily invoices for procurement and stock movements
- Conduct monthly stocktakes and prepare reports
- Issue tools and perform daily reconciliations of special tools
- Maintain control over the parts store to ensure security and organisation
- Assist the buyer with quotes and placing orders for parts
- Maintain cleanliness and order through daily housekeeping
- Identify and resolve operational challenges promptly
- Perform regular filing and documentation updates throughout the month
