“We do love every day, anyway. But this Valentine’s Day, I made a brave decision, and it broke my heart all over again. Parenting when the world feels like it’s crumbling around you is a different kind of challenge one, I hope I’ll never have to experience at this level again,” Rachel wrote.
Her candid post received an outpouring of support from fans and friends, for which she expressed deep gratitude.

“Never been more grateful for the very few who showed up to support and lean on this week, especially. One day at a time felt too big this week, so I just did one hour at a time and it kinda helped. I made it to Saturday!” she said.
Rachel and Siya’s love story began in 2012, leading to their wedding in 2016. They have two kids, Nicholas (10) and Keziah (7).
Since the separation, Siya has been residing in Durban, KZN, where he continues his rugby career with the Durban-based team, Sharks.
News of their split shocked many South Africans when the couple released a joint statement announcing their decision.
They reassured the public of their commitment to co-parenting and maintaining a strong foundation for their kids.
“This decision comes from a place of love, respect, and understanding that this is the best path forward for both of us,” the statement read at the time.
“While our relationship as a couple is changing, we remain great friends and committed partners in raising our children with the same love and care they’ve always known. We’ll also continue working together on the foundation. That means so much to us.”
