PSL Fixtures Today & Log Standings; Chiefs Returns To Action  Check Pirates Position

South Africa’s premier football division is well and truly underway with matchday 11 set to continue following last night’s double action which involved Orlando Pirates playing Amazulu and Golden Arrows against Stellenbosch FC.

Surprisingly both those matches ended in 1-1 draws as Orlando Pirates continued their winless streak which has now gone on to four matches in the PSL. Golden Arrows had to snatch a late equaliser to save themselves from the jaws of defeat at the hands of Stellenbosch FC at the Princess Magogo stadium.

Below are the updated DStv premiership log standings which sees Orlando Pirates move to 16 points, Amazulu to 13 points, Golden Arrows to 13 points and Stellenbosch to 14 points.

Here are today’s only two encounters which include an in form Kaizer Chiefs;

1. Richards Bay FC vs Maritzburg United

Second placed and newly promoted side Richards Bay will face off against Maritzburg United in the first match of today set to kick off at 15h30.

There are no head to head stats between these clubs as Richards Bay are in their first top flight season.

Richards Bay has only won once in their last four home matches, which means most of their points have been collected away from home. On the other side, the visiting side has not won in their last four way fixtures, losing three of those matches in the process.

2. Kaizer Chiefs vs Chippa United

The Glamour Boys are in high spirits at the moment as they are searching for a fourth consecutive win, standing on their way is Chippa United.

Chiefs will host The Chilli Boys at the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban later today, the match is scheduled to kick off at 17:30.

Kaizer Chiefs encounters with Chippa United have been hard to predict as their head to head stats reveal that, the Glamour Boys have won 8 games to Chippa United’s 6 wins while only two matches have concluded in a stalemate.

Home side, Kaizer Chiefs have not lost in their last five home matches, winning three of those, playing two draws and you would fancy them to keep their record in tact here.
