Polygamy drama: Wives block Musa Mseleku!
POLYGAMIST Musa Mseleku is facing a challenge.
Mseleku still has a long way to go in introducing wife number five to three of his four wives.
In the latest episode of Uthando Nes’thembu, which aired on Mzansi Magic on Wednesday, 12 March, Mseleku tried to introduce wife number five, Samke Khwela, to his wives and extended family.
He orchestrated a well-planned trick by saying he was hosting a thanksgiving ceremony to thank God for saving him after being admitted to hospital.
The event was attended by extended family members who were led to believe it was purely for thanksgiving when the actual purpose was to introduce the new wife.
But three of Mseleku’s wives, Nokukhanya “MaYeni” Mseleku, Thobile “MaKhumalo” Mseleku, and Mbali “MaNgwabe” Mseleku, quickly identified his intentions and blocked the plan.
His first wife, Busisiwe “MaCele” Mseleku, supported him.
As a result, Mseleku had to inform his extended family and guests that they would meet wife number five outside the yard, as his three wives opposed her introduction.
“My request now is that we will go outside the yard to see wife number five and be back to eat and have drinks.
“I can’t invite people twice. That’s why I decided to do one ceremony for thanksgiving and introduce number five. I decided to respect my wives by letting my guests see number five outside the yard to not fight with them,” he said.
Mseleku said he knew that his extended family members and guests attended the ceremony to see his wife number five.
MaYeni said Mseleku is a crook because he invited them to MaCele’s home pretending to host a thanksgiving ceremony while he knew that he was planning to introduce number five.
“Why is he bringing number five to the thanksgiving ceremony? If I knew that the event was all about the introduction of Mseleku’s girlfriend, I wouldn’t have bothered attending it,” she said.
MaNgwabe expressed her surprise, stating that while she was still questioning the mysterious Thanksgiving ceremony, it unexpectedly turned into the official introduction of wife number five.
“I’m disappointed that Mseleku lied to us. I feel like Mseleku and his guests don’t see us as wives, but they see us as puppets,” she said.
MaKhumalo said Mseleku had informed her about his plan to combine the ceremonies.
She advised him against doing so and was surprised when he proceeded to discuss the introduction of wife number five.
