Nigerian superstar to wow Mzansi fans!

AFTER Chris Brown’s concert in December, Big Concerts is set to bring another superstar to Mzansi.

Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Tems will perform on Thursday, 20 March 2025 at the Dome, Nasrec, Joburg.

She rose to prominence with her feature on Wizkid’s Grammy-nominated hit Essence and has since collaborated with global icons like Drake and Beyoncé.

In a media statement, Tems said she hopes people see God working through her, explaining that it’s the only way to explain her journey so far and her relationship with the music she creates.

Tems said she never really considered music as a career option when she was young and that she enjoyed singing just for the fun it.

It wasn’t until she was around 17 that she realised it might be her calling.

After uploading her first track – made hastily in a studio with friends – things started falling into place for Tems.

“Every single thing that happened, I didn’t chase it. That’s why I’m so sure God knows what He’s doing with me. I’m just a tool,” she said.

Big Concerts also announced that singer Elaine will be a special guest on Tems’ Born In The Wild Tour.

“Elaine joins the Born in the Wild Tour as a special guest, bringing her soulful voice and chart-topping hits onto the stage. Known for her breakthrough EP Elements and her distinctive style, Elaine has captivated audiences locally and internationally. Her presence on the tour is set to add an unforgettable South African flair to this extraordinary event,” read the statement
