Mseleku Faces Challenges with His Fifth Wife

POPULAR polygamist Musa Mseleku might have achieved his goal of getting a fifth wife, but he still needs to convince his other wives to accept her.

Three of his wives aren’t keen on welcoming wife number five, Samke Khwela, with only his first wife, Busisiwe “MaCele” Mseleku, showing support.

In the latest episode of Uthando Nes’thembu on Mzansi Magic aired on Wednesday night, 12 February, Mseleku tried to get MaYeni, MaKhumalo, and MaNgwabe to meet wife number five, but they refused.

Wife number four, Mbali “MaNgwabe” Mseleku, feels the new wife is her replacement and still threatens to leave Mseleku.

Meanwhile, MaYeni, staying at her maiden home, also threatens to leave permanently.

The second wife, Nokukhanya “MaYeni” Mseleku, advised Samke to find someone her age.

“Samke, wherever you are, find someone your age and stay away from this old man. He’ll play you. Ask us, we’re older and will tell you. If you don’t listen, this old man will play you,” said MaYeni.

MaYeni raised concerns about where the fifth wife would stay, as her own house has issues.

“In my house, everything is falling apart – my stove is broken, and the cupboards are breaking down. Mseleku was saving for Samke’s lobola while my home fell apart,” she said.

Mayeni was clear, Mseleku shouldn’t invite her when he officially introduces the fifth wife after introducing her to the first wife.

“Samke is his wife. She’ll make him happy, not me,” said Mayeni.

Wife number four, Mbali “MaNgwabe” Mseleku, doesn’t want the fifth wife introduced to her.

“I told him wife number five will be my replacement,” she said.

Thobile “MaKhumalo” Mseleku, the third wife, also said she doesn’t want the new wife introduced to her.

“If it were up to me, he’d just marry her and take her home. I don’t want him talking about her to me, just like I don’t want him talking about me to her,” said MaKhumalo.

Mseleku said MaYeni’s claims about her house’s problems, a missing bulb or faulty plug, are minor.

The polygamist said his wives accepted marriage to a polygamist, not a monogamist, so if they choose to leave, because of his polygamous lifestyle, he understands.
