WHAT IS MQA INTERNSHIPS
MQA Internship Programme 2025 / 2026 The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) is a Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) responsible for skills development in the South African mining and minerals sector. The MQA Internship Programme 2025 / 2026 is a strategic initiative aimed at offering valuable workplace exposure to unemployed graduates. This structured 2-year internship is designed to equip interns with the practical experience required to build successful careers in public administration, human resources, auditing, and other related disciplines. The programme is open to South African citizens who have never participated in any internship programme before.

What You’ll Be Doing
Successful candidates will be assigned to various divisions within the Mining Qualifications Authority where they will:

- Support strategic planning and stakeholder engagement activities
- Participate in data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Contribute to compliance, risk, and audit processes
- Work closely with departmental teams and attend training sessions
