Mpumelelo Mseleku responds to Vuyokazi’s marriage…
Mpumelelo “Sbindi” Mseleku, a young man with a clear vision for his future, is steadfast in his commitment to polygamy, a tradition that has deep cultural roots in many African communities. As the son of the prominent businessman Musa Mseleku, known for his own polygamous lifestyle, Mpumelelo’s aspirations have garnered significant attention, particularly following his recent breakup with Vuyokazi Nxiweni, the mother of his two children.
Despite the emotional turmoil surrounding their separation, which saw Vuyokazi move on and have her lobola paid for by a new partner, Mpumelelo has expressed a remarkable level of maturity and acceptance regarding their situation. In an interview with Daily Sun, he emphasized his contentment with life, stating, “I’m at peace and the only things I ask for are money and life. I won’t beg for a person. I’m happy for her.”
Mpumelelo said:
"I'm at peace and the only things I ask for are money and life. I won't beg for a person. I'm happy for her. I don't hold bad feelings because my own plans wouldn't work out if I did. You should be at peace with everyone. That's why even when I get angry, you'll still see me smiling,"

Mpumelelo adds:
"It wasn't a shock because it showed me there was someone else. She talked to me about trying again, but I'm a man of my word. It was too late because problems in our relationship had grown to a point where they could have turned physical. Once a woman raises her voice and lifts her hand, she changes for me. You should walk away. She's fortunate I was raised in a respectful family. I don't hit women. If I were someone else, we might be discussing a different story."
This perspective reflects a deep understanding of personal growth and the importance of maintaining amicable relationships, even in the face of heartbreak. He acknowledged that Vuyokazi’s new marriage did not come as a surprise, suggesting that their relationship had been strained for some time, with both parties recognizing the inevitability of their split.
Mpumelelo articulated his belief in the necessity of walking away from toxic situations, emphasizing that respect and non-violence are core principles instilled in him from a young age. As he looks to the future, his resolve to marry three wives remains unwavering, a commitment he has reiterated despite the end of his relationship with Vuyokazi.
He clarified that any previous plans to marry her, which had been discussed on the reality show Ingane Zes’thembu, are now obsolete, stating, “That won’t happen anymore. We broke up a long time ago, probably before the start of 2024.” This candid approach to his life and relationships not only highlights Mpumelelo’s ambition but also serves as a reflection of his cultural values and personal convictions regarding family and partnership.
