Maskandi star Mthandeni SK shows off his South African Music Awards gong during a drive-through on Durban streets.

MASKANDI star Mthandeni SK won’t donate his new car to his dancer.

However, he’ll give one of his fancy cars or a buy car and give it to the dancer.

This after some of his fans suggested Mthandeni should donate his “small” car to Mshovo, his loyal dancer and right-hand man Mshovo Gazu.

Fans suggested this move because Mthandeni owns a fleets of fancy cars including a Toyota Fortuner, Hyundai H1 bus, and a Range Rover Evoque, among others.

After Mthandeni won a brand-new 2024 VW Polo Vivo on Ukhozi FM, some of his fans asked him to donate the small car to Mshovo.

The maskandi star, whose real name is Mthandeni Manqele (36) from Emdletsheni in KZN, won Ingoma Ehlukanisa Unyaka’s Top 10 on Ukhozi FM through his hit song Gucci, featuring MaWhoo during the crossover of year 2024/25.

After the VW Polo was handed over to Mthandeni on Friday, he did a motorcade in KwaMashu and Umlazi townships and met his fans in a workshop help in Durban to show them his new car and his Record of the Year 2024 South Africa Music Award.

Mthandeni sad the new VW Polo is his treasure, and he won’t donate it as expected.

“This is my first car. I value it the most because it’s a gift given to me by my fans through their votes. I love it more than all my cars.

“This car will serve as a wedding ring between me and my fans. Even if I die this car will be a reminder of what I did when I was still alive,” he said.

Mthanden told fans who wanted him to donate the car to Mshovo: “I’ll voluntarily give one of my fancy cars to Mshovo or buy a new one that will be Mshovo’s choice.

“I’ll continue helping Mshovo build his home, and we’ll take wives to make our homes not disappears while we’re still alive. I come a long way with Mshovo” he said.

Mshovo, who’s been a dancer and Mthandeni’s friend, said it’s the first time seeing Mthandeni loving a car like the way he likes this one.
