Manhunt for Zanzou nighclub bouncers!

A MANHUNT has been initiated by police for at least eight foreign nationals following a troubling incident at Zanzou nightclub in Hatfield, Tshwane.

The incident has stunned the public, involving allegations that bouncers and the club manager forced five men into a storeroom, where they suffered violent abuse.

The victims were reportedly ordered to insert alcohol bottles into their private parts and were coerced into performing sexual acts on themselves.

National police spokeswoman Brigadier Athlenda Mathe confirmed that the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Investigations (FCS) unit is handling the investigation into this dreadful incident.

She said the charges being investigated include compelled rape, assault, crimen injuria, intimidation, and kidnapping. In a bid to gather more information, police are seeking a man known as “Pablo” on social media, who claims to be a former bouncer at Zanzou.

Pablo has made several allegations online, and police believe his testimony could be vital to solving the case.

The case has drawn further attention following the release of upsetting videos by a former nightclub bouncer.

These videos, circulated on social media, detail the violent treatment of the victims and suggest that people have been killed at the club.

The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development strongly condemned the acts of violence and dehumanisation at Zanzou nightclub.

“These heinous acts violate the fundamental human rights in the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, which upholds values of human dignity, equality, and the rule of law,” said Department of Justice and Constitutional Development spokeswoman Kgalalelo Masibi.

Meanwhile, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in Gauteng has called for the immediate arrest of Zanzou Club’s owner and the club’s closure.

The EFF stated such behaviour is unacceptable in a society valuing human dignity and justice, rejecting the nightclub’s claim that the incident was linked to phone theft.

The police have vowed to pursue justice for the victims and ensure that everyone involved in this shocking incident is held accountable.
