Malome Vector Laid to Rest: A Community Mourns the Loss of a Beloved Rapper

Renowned rapper and songwriter Malome Vector, whose real name was Bokang Moleli, was buried in his hometown of Roma, Lesotho, on Saturday, August 10. The funeral service, attended by friends, family, and fans, was an emotional tribute to the talented artist who tragically passed away in a car accident on July 24.

The funeral service took place at the Roma Christ the King High School ground before the procession moved to the cemetery. The event was a poignant reminder of the impact Malome Vector had on the music industry and the lives of those who knew him personally.

Remembering Malome Vector

The memorial service for Malome Vector was held on Wednesday, August 8, at the Lehakoe Recreational Centre in Maseru, where those who knew him best shared fond memories of his life and legacy. The service celebrated his achievements and the indelible mark he left on the music industry.

A Shared Tragedy

The car accident that claimed Malome Vector’s life also took the lives of musician and producer Lizwi Wokuqala and videographer Musa “Da Mos” Nkondo. The victims have been laid to rest in their respective hometowns, with Lizwi Wokuqala buried in KwaZulu-Natal on August 4 and Da Mos buried in Tshwane on July 30.
