Maersk invites motivated South African youth to join its YES Learnership Programme 2025/2026, a structured 12-month work-based experience that serves as an entry point into the competitive logistics and supply chain sector.

During the course of the learnership, learners will be immersed in various support functions that include:

• Administrative support across departments

• Data capturing and documentation
• Process tracking and reporting
• Communicating with both internal teams and external clients
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to strategic discussions
• Gaining exposure to supply chain systems and logistics tools

These tasks will support learners in developing core business skills while understanding the operational heartbeat of a multinational corporation.

To be considered for this learnership opportunity, applicants must meet the following educational and personal criteria:

• South African citizenship (ID required)
• Must have completed Grade 12/Matric certificate
• Additional tertiary qualifications (e.g., diploma, NQF courses) are advantageous but not required
• Strong academic record is highly desirable
• Must not have completed a YES Learnership previously

Ideal candidates should bring the following personal attributes and foundational capabilities:

• Must not be permanently employed
• Must have less than 2 years of total work experience
• Age between 18 and 30 years
• Demonstrated commitment to a full 12-month programme
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic to advanced computer literacy
• Good time management and punctuality
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team setting
• Proactive and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment
