Just In: The President Is No Longer Addressing The Country At 20:00, Things have Changed

It was announced on Friday the 23rd of July that president Cyril Ramaphosa is said to address the country on the developments in the fight against Coronavirus. On Friday it was said that the president is going to address South Africa exactly at 8:00 pm and he was going to tell the explain if the country is going to move from level 4 or not. Many things have changed since that time, and many people have been speculating that the president might move the country back to level 3.

The presidency on Twitter released an official statement earlier on Sunday to state that due to the fact that the president had to attend back-to-back meetings, he will no longer be addressing the nation at 8:00 tonight. It is said that now the address has been moved to 8:30 p.m.

It seems that the president had to make last minute changes to this address due to the fact that there were other things that had to be discussed and he wouldn’t be able to address the country at 8 because of this. This to some might mean good news. A couple of media outlets have released statements that it is likely that the president is now considering moving the country back to level 3.

This is after they had said in the morning that it has been revealed to them that the president will keep the country under level 4 for a total of 14 more days. The country will now finally get to know if they are staying under level 4 or something will be done about it. Many people have been crying about the fact that they can’t access alcohol freely die to the alcohol ban, and that seems to be coming to an end tonight.
