The Economic Freedom Fighters have made it known that they do not want members of the South African National Defence Force, SANDF, deployed to the streets of South Africa, as, they claim, are brutal and that they would kill innocent people. Following the announcement that SANDF would deploy its members to help the South African Police Services,SAPS, members who were trying to stop the looting and unrest the country faced last week, EFF commander in Chief, Julius Malema urged his fighters to join the looting should soldiers patrol the streets and malls.

Today, Malema shared a clip of some soldiers having a go on some civilians. About six soldiers are seen around four men, ordering them lie down on the ground. They also ask them where their guns and other ammunitions are.

Malema however did not receive his usual applause from his followers are they cautioned him against inciting violence by posting the video.

They accused him of being irrelevant and wanting to cause trouble for the nation. Many even went as far as applauding the soldiers for a job well done on the ground.

Calm is beggining to be restored in many South African communities that had been affected by the looting.
