Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma was born on the 12th of April 1942, he served as South Africa’s 4th president, reigning from 2009 to 2018. The former president is also popularly known by his initials “J.Z” or his clan name “Msholozi”.

The former president has estimated 20 children with different women.

Jacob Zuma is a polygamist who has been married six times. In 2012, it was estimated that the former president has a total of 20 children, whereas in 2014 it was reported that he is 21 children instead. It is uncertain how many children the former president has, however they are not less than 20.

There have been reports previously that the former president’s 20th child was born on 8th of October 2009, a 12-year-old daughter called Thandekile Matina Zuma, a love child whom was sired in relationship with Orlando Pirates football club boss Irvin Khoza’s daughter Sonono Khoza.

The former president confirmed that he had paid inhlawulo for Thandekile Matina, acknowledging that he is the indeed child father.

Zuma had a child a reality TV star of The Real Housewives of Durban, Nonkanyiso Conco aka “LaConco”. The former president’s last-born son was in 2018, the 3-year-old son shares a birthday with his father. He was also born on the 12th of April.

While there have been reports of four other children, three sired with an unknown Johannesburg woman and one wit an unknown Richards Bay woman.

Zuma has two daughters who were born on the 18th January 1998, and 19th September 2002, sired with a Pietermaritzburg-based businesswoman known as Priscilla Nonkwaleko Mhlongo.

Zuma’s first-born child, Edward Zuma was born in 1977, sired with Minah Shongwe, the sister of judge Jeremiah Shongwe who previously asked to be recused from the former president’s rape trial because of the liaison.

It is worth knowing that Zuma was arrested a few weeks ago, and he is currently serving a 15-months sentence at Estcourt Correctional Centre for contempt of court. Zuma is currently serving his sentence even though his 44-year-old son, Edward Zuma has made claims that his father will not go to prison while he is alive.
