THULI PHONGOLO AND DJ MAPHORISA’S RUMOURED RELATIONSHIP
Their relationship went public after Thuli Phongolo dragged the muso to the courts for abuse in May last year. However, a few days later, the bubbly DJ withdrew the charges.
In January 2021, ZiMoja reported that they had worked through their issues and decided to give love another chance. However, against the news, the couple did not openly confirm the news, but close sources said the two were back together.
A close source to the couple revealed that DJ Maphorisa returned all the cars he had repossessed from Thuli Phongolo. The source even confirmed that the muso had promised Thuli Phongolo a hand in marriage.
Speaking to the media, the source said, “One of the reasons why she agreed to get back was because he promised to marry her.” Against the news, Thuli Phongolo was allegedly spotted at DJ Maphorisa’s swanky Sandton apartments at the Leonardo.

However, DJ Maphorisa also performed a special set on DJ Thuli Phongolo’s birthday. Apart from the special set, the rumour mill has that DJ Maphorisa gifted Thuli Phongolo a sleek Mercedes-Benz G63 as a birthday gift.
