Heavy K Introduces Busta Rhymes to the World of Three Step Beats
‘He is not going back to America’: Heavy K introduced Busta Rhymes to South Africa’s latest dance music genre, 3 Step. Take a look…
South African music producer Heavy K has introduced American superstar Busta Rhymes to the trending 3 Step music. The DJ shared a video of the rapper vibing to the subgenre of dance music on his official X account on Tuesday, 24 September.
WHAT IS 3 STEP?
According to Spotify, 3 Step is a subgenre of house music that began in the early 2020s. It is produced by South African dance music DJs, including Murdah Bongz, Thakzin, Dlala Thukzin, Malumz On Decks, and Oscar Mbo.
Heavy K and Busta Rhymes were seemingly at the Ulele hitmaker’s crib when they met and boogied to new music. Taking to X, the excited Heavy K captioned his post:
“Introduced my brother @BustaRhymes to 3Step! & his loving it.”
In the video, it’s clear that the Break Your Neck hitmaker was having the time of his life and his facial expressions caught many social media users’ eye. We love to see Americans jamming to drums from the motherland.
