Following the abrupt dismissal of Muvhango’s top actors, Macdonald Ndou who plays KK, and Sydney Ramakuwela who plays Mulalo Mukwevho, it has also emerged that Elsie Rasalanvho who was popularly known for her role of Vho-Mukondeleli was also axed from the show.

Contrary to claims that she voluntarily left Muvhango, it now appears she did not leave the show on amicable terms. Her character died in May. The source revealed that Elsie Rasalanavho had to be admitted to a hospital after she collapsed.“She is not happy that she is leaving. She wasn’t expecting it.“When she was told her contract would not be renewed, she collapsed and had to be admitted to the hospital.

“It was such a shock that after 25 years of being on the show, she was just dropped. She was saying that she didn’t know what she did to the production team and that they would do something so painful to her. She gave it her all and they treated her badly.”

Elsie reportedly wanted to leave the telenovela immediately at the beginning of the new season but did not do so after she was told they would make a good deal out of her exit from the show.“She was told they would make a big deal out of her exit. In fact, a press release was supposed to be released after her last episode but it did not happen. That was when most of us realized something was wrong,” said the source.
