Halala! South Africa’s Dr Fezile Mkhize wins Mister Supranational

Dr Fezile Mkhize, who represented South Africa, won the Mister Supranational title on Thursday 4 July, making history.

Medical doctor Fezile Mkhize, who represented South Africa, won the Mister Supranational pageant held in Nowy Sącz, Poland on Thursday 4 July.

SOUTH AFRICA’S DR FEZILE MKHIZE WINS MISTER SUPRANATIONAL

Dr Fezile Mkhize was crowned Mister Supranational at the finale of the pageant on Thursday 4 July, held in Nowy Sącz, Poland. He competed against 35 other contestants to bag the Mister Supranational title. Iván Álvarez Guedes from Spain handed down his crown to Mkhize.

Mkhize has made history as the first black man to win the pageant and the first South African to win the title as well. This comes after Lalela Mswane became the first black woman and the first South African to win Miss Supranational back in 2022. Mister Supranational 2024 also made history for South Africa, as the country became the second nation to receive both Miss and Mister Supranational titles.

BRYONI GOVENDER IS REPRESENTING SOUTH AFRICA AT MISS SUPRANATIONAL

South Africa is still in the running for a second win at Supranational this year. Miss SA 2023 runner up, Bryoni Govender is representing South Africa at the Miss Supranational pageant to be held on Saturday 6 July, also in Poland.

Andrea Aguilera of Ecuador will crown her successor at the end of the event. South African viewers can watch on the Miss Supranational YouTube channel. Bryoni is also no stranger to international pageants as she represented South Africa at the Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador in November 2023.

Bryoni stunned in a glittering green gown as she walked down the ramp during the Elegance Round of the Preliminary Evaluation for the judging of the 68 Miss Supranational 2024 contestants in Nowy Sącz in Poland.
