FORMER ‘GENERATIONS’ ACTOR ‘DRAMATIC CHANGE’ ON ‘RHYTHM CITY’
Speaking to TshisaLIVE in 2017, the former Generations actor Roderick Jaftha described the sad circumstances that led to his dramatic change in appearance.
The 61-year-old who appeared in e.tv’s Rhythm City at the time said: “It wasn’t drugs or alcohol that made me change. It was stress, sadness and despair. It was unemployment for over three years.”
Jaftha added that people assume that he left Generations and went straight into a downward spiral, but that was not the case.
Life went on for me after the soapie. He did other productions like Villa Rosa, where he played the character called Dr Anthony Jackson until the show was replaced. He was not on mainstream TV, but he was working.
