Former TS Records boss TK Nciza celebrates his birthday with his community
Former TS Records boss Thembinkosi “TK” Nciza celebrated his 49th birthday with his community in Daveyton.
TK, now ANC Gauteng secretary, musical mogul and co-owner of record label TS Records, decided to celebrate his birthday with the community of Daveyton, Ekurhuleni, where he was born and raised.
The birthday celebration “fun day” took place at Marivate Park in Daveyton. The event was attended by celebrities such as Major League DJz, Skeem GP, Nhlanhla Lux, Sjava, Gazza, Jabu Pule and DJ Sbu.
The free fun day was promoted as giving back to the township TK grew up in and the event attracted thousands of people, young and old.
It was a day full of children’s fun games and soccer.
A day before his birthday he bought 1,500 food parcels for the communities of Twatwa, Daveyton and ward 23, Kempton Park, to wish them a merry Christmas.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, TK said: “I’m celebrating my birthday lana [here] ekasi and I’m glad everyone is invited and people are having fun. As you can see we’ve fun activities such as aerobics, netball and a six-a-side soccer tournament.”
Against The Wall podcaster Themba Lukhele, aka Skeem GP, said: “I came to attend a birthday celebration of a brother and I’m glad he decided to celebrate it with the community of Daveyton. Just happy birthday to leadership.”
