Background & Job Description
Fidelity Services Group, one of South Africa’s premier private security companies, is seeking a Senior CCTV Controller for its Dolphin Coast/Ballito operations. This pivotal role reports directly to the Control Room Manager and requires a candidate with sound operational control room experience and leadership skills to ensure the smooth management of control room staff and security systems.
The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing security operations via CCTV monitoring and ensuring that control room activities run efficiently and effectively in accordance with company standards.
Tasks
- Supervise control room personnel and daily operations
- Monitor and manage incidents through the incident register
- Coordinate responses to security threats and emergencies
- Enforce company protocols and control room discipline
- Support communication and collaboration across departments
- Liaise with site officers and management as required
- Maintain accurate reporting and data entry
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric) – essential
- Grade B PSIRA Registration – registered with traceable references
- Certified in Fire Fighting
- Certified in First Aid
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CCTV systems
Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a security control room environment
- Proven ability to manage teams and uphold discipline
- Sound understanding of control room operations and emergency protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must reside in the Ballito area
- No criminal record
- Fluent in English
- Must have own reliable transport
