Entertainer Vulela Maweekend lands his first TV gig

Entertainer Vulela Maweekend, real name Molifi Nakedi, has landed his first TV gig. He is featured in a new Vodacom advertisement.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE about his first TV gig, he said: “I honestly feel great about it. I never imagined myself appearing on national television. I feel like this is a game-changer for me. I’ve also featured in top artists’ music videos, now this. The sky is certainly the limit.

“It’s actually a big move for me, which I am hoping will open doors for me to be able to work with other big brands. Who knows? I might now transition into an acting role and am looking at doing more adverts.”

Vulela added he was working on releasing a single in December.
