This will undoubtedly be one of his biggest shows in months. The one-man show will be held at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium, which will host Skomota on 26 October 2024.
Since his thrust into the limelight, Skomota has been busy and booked. The viral sensation has headlined several shows across South Africa. However, Skomota had his first international gig in the United Kingdom last month.
He shared the stage with celebrated dancer Limpopo Boy. However, with his show on the cards, fans have been trying to figure out whether he will perform the whole show alone or tag along with other stars despite being the main act.
Skomota joins a host of South African stars, including Cassper Nyovest and Focalistic, who have hosted one-man shows over the years.
The post has gained thousands of comments and reactions. Fans were quick to ask what Skomota would perform the whole night, given that he only performs his signature dance moves.
An X user commented, “South Africa is indeed alive with possibilities.” Another user added, “So 51k ppl must come and fill up the stadium watching Skomota, doing what exactly 🤔…”
However, another X user jokingly said, “Next thing, Skomota will fill up the FNB stadium cause anything is possible.” His management has not confirmed the news that has since thrust Skomota into the top trends.
MAKING HEADLINES
News of the show comes barely a week after Moja Love canned his reality show. Reports have it that Skomota demanded R1 million to air his private life, which he has kept under wraps for years, but Moja Love found it too exorbitant. However, this is not the first time he has hogged headlines.
Earlier this year, he pulled a shocker when he revealed that he was cancelling all his bookings amid exploitation rumours. Skomota’s close friend and road manager made it known that his manager was swindling him millions since he had no bank accounts or access to his money.
