True love is a strong and lasting affection between spouses who are in a happy, passionate and fulfilling relationship/marriage. An example of true love is the emotion shared between a couple who has been married for many years. We definitely have seen many of the in Mzansi but they were never like Connie Ferguson and her late husband Shona Ferguson.

The couple is known for loving each other unconditionally and they inspired a lot of people with their love. It has been a few days since Shona’s passing and his wife misses him so much, they used to spend their Sunday’s lying on their bedroom carpet, bonding and talking about everything.

She recently shared a clip on social media revealing how much she misses him and how they used to have Carpet Sunday’s. She captioned her post: “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit who leads into all truth.

The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognise him. But you know him because he lives with you now and later will be in you.”, her post left many of her followers absolutely emotional yet showering her with love. This is not an easy journey for this phenomenal woman as she is used to doing most of the things with her better half.
