Here’s a look at some Mzansi’s stars who graduated in 2024, inspiring a new generation of students to prioritise education:

Phindile Gwala graduated with 10 distinctions
Phindile graduated with a BCom in entrepreneurship from Mancosa and plans to leave her mark in the business world.

“I am proud to say hard work and dedication have paid off. I am grateful for the support I received from my family, friends and lecturers. Their encouragement and guidance kept me going when things got tough. I couldn’t have achieved this milestone without their help and I am eager to make them proud in the future. I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead,” she said.

Matshediso ‘Tshedi’ Mholo excited after graduating 

 

Former Malaika star Matshediso Mholo completed her short learning programme (SLP) in the music business at Boston City Campus.

“If I don’t protect myself, no one will. This is business to me,” she wrote on Instagram.

Groove whistler Reneiloe Seemane is all about her books

 

Reneiloe Seemane, better known as Whistle Girl, has a BA degree and is completing an LLB. Speaking to TimesLIVE, she said she wants to make education fashionable.

“Why I wanted to study law is because I found myself in situations where I wished I knew what was the right way to do things. So, for example, the viral moment when a lot of people would approach me, such as brand deals,” she said.

‘RHOD’ star Kgomotso Ndungane inspired by husband to pursue MBA

Kgomotso was beaming with pride after her husband, former rugby player Odwa Ndungane, obtained his BCom degree.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, the Real Housewives of Durban star spoke about the power of education and how her husband has been a leading example to their children.

“When he started his civil engineering business, he was under the guidance and mentorship of the Teichmann Group. The main reason for Odwa pursuing his bachelor of commerce degree is to grow the business in knowledge,” she said.
