Capitec Bank, one of South Africa’s most innovative and rapidly growing financial institutions, is actively seeking a highly skilled SAP Functional Consultant to join its HR Systems team in Stellenbosch.

This role is pivotal in supporting the transformation of compensation management processes through the use of SAP SuccessFactors, specifically focusing on the Compensation module and Role-Based Permissions (RBP). This opportunity is ideal for experienced SAP consultants passionate about delivering people-centric digital solutions in a dynamic and high-performing banking environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for end-to-end functional support, system configuration, and collaboration with HR stakeholders to ensure that compensation strategies are accurately implemented and access roles are managed in compliance with internal security protocols.

Tasks

Configure, enhance, and support SAP SuccessFactors Compensation, including:
- Salary planning
- Bonus scheme management
- Team awards
- Incentive structure integration
Serve as the go-to expert for Role-Based Permissions (RBP):
- Define and manage user access roles
- Align permissions with compliance and data privacy requirements
Partner with HR stakeholders to optimize:
- Employee Central
- Time Off module
Translate business needs into scalable system-based solutions
Document system changes and test configurations during release cycles
Contribute to issue resolution (2nd and 3rd level support) and ongoing user support
Ensure compliance with SAP standards and industry best practices
Participate in agile sprints and manage tasks using Jira

Qualifications
Minimum:

Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Ideal / Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
SAP SuccessFactors Certifications in Compensation and/or Employee Central

Experience

4+ years’ experience in SAP SuccessFactors functional consulting, with specialization in:
- Compensation module
- Role-Based Permissions (RBP)
2+ years’ experience working in an agile environment, including Jira-based task management
Experience collaborating with business process owners to define system needs
Prior exposure to documenting technical and functional specifications
Stakeholder engagement and communication experience
Advantageous:
- SAP S/4HANA and Fiori knowledge
- SAP Project Implementation experience
