Ayanda Ntanzi dumps top record label!
TOP gospel star Ayanda Ntanzi has parted ways with Koko Records.
The 33-year-old musician from Pietermaritzburg, KZN Midlands, will now be his own boss with his record label, Royal Priest Productions.
Ayanda has been with Koko Records, co-owned by Thoko Mthembu and legendary musician Nqubeko Mbatha, since 2015, releasing hit songs. While at Koko Records, he worked alongside top musicians Ntokozo Mbambo and Nqubeko Mbatha.
On Friday, the 21st, Koko Records and Ayanda Ntanzi released a joint statement announcing Ayanda’s departure to focus on his record label.
“As the Koko Records family, we are excited to formally announce that our very own Ayanda Ntanzi has accepted a huge yet exciting challenge to be the boss of his record label, Royal Priest Productions.
“Ayanda joined Koko Records in 2015 and has been a blessing to many with his amazing ministry. However, Ayanda will not be completely lost to Koko Records, as Royal Priest Productions will continue collaborating with Koko Records in various segments of the music value chain.”
The statement signed by both Ayanda Ntanzi and Koko Records boss Thoko Mthembu thanked Ayanda for his immense contribution to Koko Records over the years and wished him the best in his exciting new challenge.
