Arthur Mafokate addresses Kelly Khumalo dating rumours!

MZANSI music icons Arthur Mafokate and Kelly Khumalo have teamed up once more.

Together, they have released a heartfelt love song titled Ngeke.

Kelly said the track, recorded in 2019, was released just recently on 3 March 2025.

It has already attracted significant attention online.

The collaboration between Arthur, often celebrated as the King of Kwaito, and Kelly, renowned for her powerful vocals and emotive performances, has received widespread acclaim.

In an interview with Daily Sun, Arthur explained the reasons behind the delayed release of Ngeke.

“There was no real reason, but I partially take the blame on that one.”

Discussing how the collaboration came about, Mafokate revealed that their joint projects are often unexpected.

“Whenever we are in a good mood, we record songs together. That’s not the only one we did,” he said.

The public’s reception to Ngeke has been overwhelmingly positive. Mafokate expressed his surprise and gratitude.

“I’m actually surprised at the triple positive response we got. It’s just amazing, and we thank them for such support,” he said.

“Unbreakable love does exist. It’s the message we’re trying to remind people about,” he said.

Before the song was released, both artists teased fans with suggestive posts on social media, sparking speculation about a possible romantic relationship.

Addressing these rumours, Arthur said:

“I’m certain you are not expecting an answer on this one from me. I never reveal my relationships in public unless circumstances force me to.”

The duo previously collaborated on the single Nguye Lo in 2014, blending kwaito and Afro-soul genres.
