Another ANC Female Leader Undermines Ramaphosa, she Said this to the Media

Nosiviwe Mapisa-Ngqakula was made to retract her statement on the contradiction of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s announcement of insurrection.

Ramaphosa had said the attacks of looting and burning of shopping centres and malls were planned attacks as they themed too professional and orchestrated.

Mapisa-Ngqakula, the Minister of defense, had said that she could not say that it was an insurrection,she later changed tune and followed suit with the president.

This has not gone well with the ANC Women’s League president Bathabile Dlamini and she has spoken out.

“It is an attack on a woman, but she is a soldier,” ANCWL president Bathabile Dlamini said in an interview.

“You can’t make senior members of the organisation say something and then force them to retract their statements. It shows disrespect within the movement,” said Dlamini.

“I think it’s too quick for us to say it’s insurrection or not,” says ANC Women’s League president Bathabile Dlamini.

Dlamini is a known pro Jacob Zuma supporter and has not been part of the Cyril Ramaphosa administration.
