Afrosoul Prepares for Academy Auditions and Drops New Track
Afrosoul’s Ikabawo Arts Academy is to host auditions later this month.
The group, made up of Sabelo Ngema and Thandeka Zulu, have released popular songs such as uSemncane, Wemgqibelo and Hamba Ekhaya.
The auditions will be held at the Durban Music school, 21 Diakonia Avenue, on November 30. According to Thandeka, if artists want to shape their skills in the performing arts industry (music, dance, acting and arts administration) this is the best academy for them.
“Our one-year course is fully accredited and produces NQF level 4 certification. Come prepared to showcase your talent. What is expected on the day is a monologue, song, or any dance piece.”
Sabelo told TshisaLIVE Ikabawo Records is thrilled to unveil their highly anticipated single Iqanda leGrootman featuring talented maskandi musician Navigator (Lindo Gcwensa).
Iqanda leGrootman is a statement that embraces a man taking good care of and spoiling his special woman.
“Iqanda leGrootman is a maskandi masterpiece showcasing exceptional vocal prowess from the two brands and gifts for crafting emotionally resonant lyrics,” he said. “The single stands as a testament to Afrosoul and Navigator’s commitment to their art and ability to forge genuine connections with the audience through their music.”
Backed by Ikabawo Records, Iqanda leGrootman promises to captivate music lovers and propel the collaboration to new heights in the vibrant South African music landscape.
