RIP: Zulu maidens pay tribute to King Goodwill Zwelithini
As the country mourns the passing of King Goodwill Zwelithini, Imbokodo – who have for years trekked to the King’s palace during the reed dance are shattered. Zulu maidens have described the king as a loving father to the state. They say his legacy of protecting the foremost vulnerable in society will forever sleep in their hearts. The monarch was interred during a private ceremony, administered by Amabutho, within the early hours Thursday morning. Official memorial service are going to be held for iSilo Samabandla later within the day.
